Celebrate imperfection: Episode 108

Welcome to another episode of the Crafternoon Treats podcast!

https://youtu.be/7Uwnxd-PR74

In this episode I’m revisiting some of the very few garments I’ve made and although I love my boxy sweater, its KNITTED, not crocheted. I had a go at making a granny square sweater but my two other garment projects have stalled.

I’m gearing up to finish them and then see what my next project might be to learn some new skills and advance a little on my garment making journey.

To that end, I had a look on Ravelry and saved quite a few crochet garment patterns into a bundle, which I’ve saved so that you can take a look through it if you want to.

The list contains some older and new patterns and a mixture of sweater/pullover designs and cardigans. All but two are paid for patterns but in buying a pattern we are helping to support new design talent and getting the results of some incredibly hard work for just a few pounds.

Skillshare classes

I’ve reviewed a couple more Skillshare classes and have another link for you to have a free trial. The first 1000 people to use the link will get a free trial of Skillshare Premium Membership: https://skl.sh/crafternoontreats10201

This episode I’m looking into the classes that are grouped under the umbrella ‘culinary’ and I found one on dough making and going way beyond basic loaves, and one on using a slow cooker to cook meat without added stock. I learned a lot from both and find the whole platform very inspiring.

Giveaway winners

I’ve announced the giveaway winners towards the end of the podcast and I’ll be in touch with you soon if I haven’t already with how to get your prize.

Just click on one of the ads in the right margin – I get a few pence per click and it doesn’t cost you anything.

If you are buying anything through Amazon, use this links below to start browsing. Again, I get a few pence towards an Amazon purchase and it adds nothing to your item price.
