Welcome to the Crafternoon Treats Crochet podcast about crochet, , yarny pleasures, a teeny tiny bit of knitting, my progress with spinning and loads of lovely chat. I’m from Yorkshire in the UK. In this episode I talk about a trip over to Skipton to meet up with Lucy of Attic24, Christine of Winwick mum (host of the sockalong) and other lovely friends over there. I went for a day out with my friend Nicola for her birthday and it was great fun.

I’ve also finished my knitted socks – shock horror. I talk about them and about my crochet sock journey, which is continuing and will carry on into 2017.

My daughter Miriam924 and I just discovered your podcast. We so enjoyed your pictures of Skipton but I did want to see the sweets shop! I was googling about Skipton as we watched…it has taken us over an hour to get through 35 minutes of the podcast! Your wood cooker is just wonderful and the tile around it is beautiful. I do so like to see people’s homes and I always wonder what the whole house looks like, and the garden, and the road. It is fascinating to see into people’s lives and their knitting and crocheting. We are both knitters and Miriam does a bit of crochet.
I like your crocheted socks and I might ask a crocheting friend to make some.
Miriam and I look forward to watching your other podcasts!
    All the best.
