This week its been such gorgeous weather, I’ve recorded the podcast from my garden room…
I’ll be writing a new blog post to coincide with the start of the finishalong on June 1st. In the podcast I introduce how I plan to use the finishalong and I hope that you will join in and we can all encourage each other to tackle, progress and hopefully finish some of our long-standing and languishing WIPS!
Having put my mind to the finishalong, I’m surprised how much progress I’ve made in the time since I last podcasted. I talk about my continental knit socks, my scrappy mandala made from my hand dyed yarn and my ripple blanket.
Myths and tips
This is a new section that I’m just trying out to see what you all think… I’ll be exploding or exploring a common yarn, crochet or knitting related myth and then providing tips around a theme or a specific tip that I’ve found useful. In this episode I look at the myth that you should never use fabric or hair conditioner on wool and my tips are all about how to take better photographs for social media.
